A tightly woven culture of expertise and excellence
The desire to create the finest possible knitwear is woven into the fabric of Glenbrae. It begins with choosing the best fibres, and continues from design and development through to manufacturing and finishing.
However, the most important ingredient in this process is undoubtedly our people. People who truly believe in our ethos of excellence.
Many of our employees have been with us for more than 25 years and we employ many generations of the same family. This long-standing, close-knit community has a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience, and takes genuine pride in producing the very finest British knitwear. This care and attention to detail is evident in every garment that leaves our factory. It’s also the reason why on wintry days when the snow is thick on the ground, our staff walk several miles to arrive on time.
Our goal throughout is simply to make your investment in a Glenbrae product pleasurable and special. If we can achieve this over the life of your garment, and fulfil your expectations, our unrelenting commitment to quality and detail will all have been worth it.

On a national level, we also support Help for Heroes, RAFBF (Royal Air force Benevolent Fund) and DGA (The Disabled Golf Association) and assist our employees with their annual fundraising for Children in Need and the Macmillan Cancer Support.
